REGIONAL BLUES FESTIVALSSaturday May 10 Buddy Whittington will join The Atomic Fireballs, featuring Carlos Crull and Johnny Watson at the Fourth Annual Brew-Ha-Ha microbrew and comedy extravaganza on May 10 in Cañon City. The event is a fundraiser for the Fremont Center for the Arts (www.fremontarts.org) - and will feature more than 20 Colorado microbrewers (plus a couple of out-of-staters!), accompanied by stand-up comedians. Held at Veterans Park on U.S. Highway 50 at the west end of Cañon City, the event will kick off with a beer tasting session from 3 to 6 p.m. More than 60 different brews will be featured, including award-winning beers from most of Colorado's top microbrewers, while stand-up comedians entertain from the stage. At 6 p.m., the Atomic Fireballs will take the stage with a great variety of blues, jump & swing, R&B and even a little country! The band will feature terrific vocal harmonies with Watson, Crull, brothers Dennis and Larry Heid, Rusty DiSanti and Matt Kouba. And with Whittington joining in to help benefit the Fremont Center for Arts, the event promises to be extraordinary! In addition to Linda and her daughter, Jessica, the show will feature Netherlands-based Irish band The John O Gods.
